HMC Offers A Parent’s Guide To Children’s Nutrition

Hunterdon Medical Center will present a Parent’s Guide to Children’s Nutrition for infants –age 5 on Thursday, May 31^st from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Hunterdon Medical Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington.

Community Nutritionist, Velta Soucie, RD, CDE, Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management, will present an informative program on nutrition for children.  Topics to be discussed include:

• What should you feed your infant?
• Different types of diets and are they healthy and safe?
• Vegetarian and vegan diets
• Is my child getting enough protein?
• What should my growing toddler be eating?
• Meal planning and snack ideas
